A remake of the once famous LP "Call of the Valley" by Hari Prasad Chaurasia and Shiv Kumar Sharma ... unfortunately without the presence of Brij Kumar Kabra, ill at the time of the concert.
The DVD in two separate volumes are published by Navras under the name "The Valley recalls" and are live recordings from a concert given at the Nehru Center, Mumbai, december 1995.
NRDVD 005 - volume one - features rag Bhupali (alap, jod, jhaptal, teental) with the tabla wizard Anindo Chaterjee and Bhawani Shankar on pakhavaj.
